Join us for our next Six-Figure Workshop, featuring seasoned actor Kenny Johnson. Kenny Johnson is an American actor whose celebrated range, depth and sincerity has only been magnified by starring opposite Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winners and nominees, such as Anthony Hopkins, Vera Farmiga, Holly Hunter, Juliette Lewis, Glenn Close, Forest Whitaker, Maria Bello, and Michael Chiklis, among others. Johnson can be seen in a barrage of critically acclaimed series, from Dexter (2006) to Bates Motel (2013), and from Sons of Anarchy (2008) to Secrets and Lies (2015). His portrayal of Detective Curtis Lemansky on The Shield (2002) won him a substantial fanbase struck by his character's strong but sensitive personality. Johnson's future only brightened - now consistently in demand as an actor who embraces his characters, protects them and fights with them to further not only their stories, but the stories of the actors around him.

We teach both the craft of acting for stage and screen, as well as industry expertise for those wanting to cultivate a sustainable career.

LOL: Creating Comedy Workshop
Thursdays starting January 11th
6:30-9:30pm
Fancy Funny? You will emerge from the workshop with a toolbox to write your own screenplay, sitcoms, standup sets and so much more.
This will be a four-week workshop where you will perfect your funny and learn all aspects of comedy in general, allowing you to apply it to the medium of your choice. We will also deep dive into specific genres of comedy, covering a wide range of classic and current comedic outlets.
You will emerge from the workshop with completed works of comedy-either something you’ve been working on previously or something completely brand new!

Walt New Workshop
Walter Newman headed program development at Adult Swim for over a decade. During his tenure he oversaw Emmy winning shows such as Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken and Primal. Other animated projects include The Boondocks, Smiling Friends, Mr. Pickles, Black Dynamite, Aqua Teen Hungerforce, and Tuca and Bertie. In the live action space, he executive produced shows such as The Eric Andre Show, Joe Pera Talks With You, Loiter Squad, and Black Jesus.
Newman also hosted the show Development Meeting for the network as well as pioneered the computer programmer art and gaming space 'Etcetera'' for Adult Swim dot com.
Prior to joining Adult Swim, Newman discovered the comedy group who would create the show Workaholics while an assistant at Comedy Central.
